Sciton Profile ClearScan  brings a new approach to laser treatment  of veins and redness. ClearScan is a new laser using infrared energy and a new standard for many skin conditions. ClearScan allows our physicians to precisely treat visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins , vascular lesions, and discoloration of your skin. Unwanted vessels will be preferentially heated by the laser's energy and become less noticeable. ClearScan has the ability to provide a treatment that is optimized to your skin condition. Your treatment will be tailored to match your skin condition and desired result. All skin areas can be treated. Popular areas are the face, neck, chest, and legs.

The Candela V-Beam laser is a 595nm pulsed dye laser that preferentially targets vascular structures in the skin. This laser utilizes cryogen cooling while targeting a wide variety of vascular lesions, including veins.

Sclerotherapy is used to treat unsightly leg veins. This procedure involves injecting a detergent (sclerosant) into the vein using a fine needle. The sclerosant causes inflammation to eliminate the vein. Dr. Carter and Dr. Mazurek will then place you in medical compression stockings for several days, so that the vein can begin shrinking.
